History & Recognition
Built by King Edward VII in 1877 for his mistress Lillie Langtry, the hotel is a listed Edwardian manor. It was named the best hotel in Bournemouth by the Guardian newspaper. Guests can view artefacts, pictures, and a dress worn by Lillie Langtry displayed throughout the building.
